    OK .. I think its an advertising Jeton from New York City's Bowery. They sell a pumas like product for finishing on the obverse and a bluing & blacking process for steel/iron and kind of metal on the reverse. Ripley

    I think I'm correct in calling it a Store Card Token. Probably mid 1800s.

    Here's mine....the first one is actually kind of cool. The 2nd one you have to really look to see the columns of the Lincoln Memorial. There is absolutely nothing on the obverse of it. Taken from a bank roll.

    It's a 1787 M33.13-z.1 Connecticut (R-6). :cool: It's ugly but it's also very rare so it will fill a hole until I acquire a better example. :D

    I found our old target Indian Head Cent.

    This would have been a very pretty coin today had it not been "Targeted".
