I was diagnosed with Colitis almost 2 years ago and either the Doc was wrong or I beat it by eating the right stuff and hot peppers are great for your digestive system. I eat a lot of hot sauce and hot peppers and my favorite drink (alcohol based) is a Flaming Toad, which is a shot of Cholula hot sauce and a shot of Stoli's 100 proof vodka. dd: You down the shot of hot sauce and follow it with the shot of vodka. hya: Afterwards, you can't tell you drank either but within a minute your belly starts feeling all warm and fuzzy and if you drink several, you will fall down. :goofer:

Hot sauce is the greatest thing ever invented. I am a sucker for Tabasco, and as long as I have my Tabasco I am fine. It seems every time I run out of it, I get strep throat or the flu.

 

My boss came into the lab one day to say he was too sick to finish the days work. His guts were really giving him troubles.

Since he's an MD with a PhD in Pharmacology I just had to ask him how he was going to treat himself.

"I'm going home and eating a piece of bread soaked in tabasco sauce."

But, Hey! What would he know?:rolling:
