Hey everyone, Just noticed this coin in the lot I got. Would this be considered a error coin ? Seems like the 9 is filled Best regards Siggi
Well i would say there can be a premium not much, and it is considered an error according to Mike Diamond the expert. Now if you sold it on Ebay for about 2 bucks at least it;s worth more then a cent. What they call these are a clogged nine or a filled nine which is just a die chip, there are coin collectors that would buy these particular errors , JCFormerly jazzcoins Joe
Joe, Well that would not be good if it only sold for $2 and you have to pay eBay $3 or more for the Listing and Final Bid Price, then an additional $0.15 or more to get the payment through PayPal! Frank
Not if you start the bid at 99cents,and that was just to say that the coin has a premium ,and you probably could get at least five smackers for it. :secret:I have seen some sold for that price on fleebay.Without out the flees that is Frankie Joe
Yep, pretty common. You can also find them with the filled nine, five and the die chip that forms the BIE cent.
