So, a lot of you have seen additions to my type set piece by piece. It is getting close to being complete. I've struggles with lighting settings when I photograph in an album, but I think it's getting better. Here is where I'm at so far. Feel free to comment on the coins, and the quality of the photos in general. I havent photographed the reverse yet, but this is a fairly good presentation of what the album looks like so far. :D

Page 3 and 4. I took out page 5 basically because I don't have interest in these types and I wanted to make room for my custom gold page with slabs. I also need a fourth commemorative, but my rainbow toned kennedy is filling in nicely for now. :)

I will rephotograph and post the album once again when it is complete, which might be a while since I still have some really tough holes to fill. BTW, my grade goal is minimum XF, with most AU or better.

    very nice!
Do you usually keep the slides out, or was that just for picture taking?

Oh, and do you have a picture of that war nickel? :D
You have some great toners in there

Thanks! Yeah, I took the slides out for the photos to avoid the glare. I'll get a pic up shortly.

Good job, it looks great, Mine is gonna be a while before I can get that many holes filled and in that good condition. Good luck with the rest. The custom gold is neat aswell!

Very impressive, looks like you have some very high end stuff in there. Wish I had the mojo to crack out some stuff for my Danscos. :(

Wow- super cool. Tempting to start one of those after seeing yours but I am so lost in my own collection. Sometimes we collect more than we plan methinks. Yours is wonderful

Do you have a close up of the classic head quarter eagle reverse? Looks like it has some great crusty toning. :)

Impressive collection! I've had zero interest in collecting a type set before, but, like someone above it seems tempting to do so now.

Question: what happens when a new coin appears? It throws everything off (display-wise), doesn't it? I mean, you need at least one new hole for after the Lincoln Memorials (or maybe 5 depending on how you define type). So, what happens now?

Very nice collection. That's the same criterium I used for my set, XF or better. But if you're like me you may have to settle for a VF in one or two spots.

You are almost done... Seems like just yesterday you started, these sets grow up so fast... LOL!
This is a very nice set, and you should be proud, even with those pesky holes... Just think, you will have this completed, most likely this year
That is just amazing, congrats on a very nice type set

I don't know about the OP, but I solved that problem by the way I defined my type set.
Mine stops when silver was no longer used for coining business strikes, 1964.
Therefore what happens after that date is of no consequence.

That's the nice part about type sets.
You define them to suit your tastes.

Here are some closeups of requested coin. Both of my jeffersons are nicely toned. :) The 1970 was graded MS-64 by NGC.
