    good move giving the person a fair deal, bet if they find any more they will think of you first.

    Condor, I see your point. So here's my point: sharing information can help everyone get a sense of what a fair price is for an item. It also helps you if you find yourself in a similar situation, just so you have a notion of how to justly proceed.

    there's some roos dimes in there, so I'm guessing '50s

    You have a valid point as well, just try rephrasing the question to "What would be a fair price to pay for a group like that?" That allows an honest answer without putting the person on the spot like the question "How much did you pay?" does.

    Well Condor nailed part of the reason. There's always half that said it's fair, and the half that sees it as ripping someone off. Like I said, I paid nearly double what any dealer anywhere would have given, so to me thats more than a fair price. The second part of my reason is, unless it's of public knowledge, I just never divulge any of my financial business to strangers, as I'd hope everyone else here would as well. It's a bad practice. I'd be more than happy, however, to tell you what I paid via pm.

    As for the question on the most recent date, I believe it was in the 50's with a few Roosies and some quarters.

    I love stories like this finding hidden gems.
