Woohoo, finally finish my Dansco 7143 State Quarter album! It's taken awhile since I wanted BU coins. I also have the currently released Territorial quarters in BU, I'm just waiting for the update page to arrive.

    Congrats

I have one complete state quarter set, of the denver mint, some are BU the rest are AU
I don't intend on getting any of the parks quarters, or the territorial, because my map stops at the 50 STATES, how it was intended.. :)
I don't intend on getting an P minted ones either.. D is enough for me :D

looks great and congrats on finishing the set!

Do you like looking at the state designs upside down? Or did you feel more compelled to put the obverse forward?

not criticizing, just asking... everyone is different

Very nice. I have every P quarter but getting Ds here in the NY area is tough. Plenty of Ps in duplicate and triplicate, but over half my D holes are empty. If I end up purchasing to fill the remainder maybe then I'll consider upgrading to BU specimens. BTW in my album I have the reverse sides facing forward. For me anyway, it makes more sense to feature the individual designs and I don't have to flip the page and turn it around 180 deg. to see them. Whatever you like, there's no right and wrong way written down anywhere.

Thanks everyone, it's the first set of anything I have completed, for myself, at least. It feels great!

I guess in my tiny mind it made more sense to put them in obverse forward. I thought about the other way also, and really like that look, and would have, except there's no way to tell the mint by the reverse. I originally had a mistake with the Oklahoma coin, I had a D in both the P slot and the D slot. Doubt I would have caught it with the reverse forward. I've been looking at it for about 11 years, it's going in the locked cabinet :high5: Maybe it will be worth something for my great great grandchildren.

even if not, it's been a lot of fun putting it together, hasn't it?

You actually think there will be cash in the future?

That is a beautiful set; congrats! Doesn't it feel rewarding to complete an entire set?

Another display idea that I have implemented in my coin collection is P obverse, D reverse...and if you have proofs; go obverse. It displays nicely and you get both sides of the coin.

Congrats. I thought about taking some of my mint sets and doing this, but decided a harris folder would be more fun. So they have to come from my pocket change. So far only a couple of the DC are in my change, but eventually the rest will show up.

Congratulations, it is rewarding to finish an album. I am still working on my BU and Proof State Quarter set.

Hummmmm? Ingenious Louie Two Bits! I do like that idea, I think I may go flip the D's. I think I have all the clad proofs, but I know I still need a few of the silver proofs; however, they are all still in the OGP.

Congrats, I still have a ways to go. My Dansco includes the Silver and Clad proofs. I have the silver completed but still have a ways to go on all the circs and clad proofs.
