Hi all. Just to let ya know...the History Channel will be showing the making of coins and currency tonight on 'Modern Marvels' at 7:00 PM Eastern time. They will be at the US Mint and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing to show us the methods used to manufacture money. Enjoy! :eat:

    In your dreams buddy!

BTW different PBS stations show History Detectives at different times and on different dates. None of four (last day) analog channels, or the 15 digital channels are broadcasting that show in the greater Los Angeles area today.

    Always check your local listings!

It's on the History Channel and not PBS....

    Oh, my mistake.

I guess without cable I'll have to pass on seeing it.

Just checked the listings in my area... after the 7:00 PM showing of "Money (and how it's made)", there's another installment of Modern Marvels showing "Coin Operated"... the history of coin operated machines, including gumball, pinball and CoinStar. Gotta love the History Channel...
