This is a rare 1842 Braubunden 4-Franken Shooting Festival in Chur, I picked up on Ebay. These are rare and part of the first Shooting Talers in Switzerland with very low mintage.

In my opinion, a real beauty.

    NGC Certification inconsistency

    http://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/CertResults.aspx?CertNumber=3299125-001

Seems that the NGC Verifier shows it as AU-50 with the SAME slab ID number.

    2 options:

    1) Slab is not authentic
    2) NGC allocated the same number to the coins which look very similar.

I believe #2 is really not likely as we are talking about the same coin see toning and spots.

    I can not explain this.

It was a joke that stone played. He really should have mentioned it firstly. Don't pay a serious mind to what he posted.
