Grocery Store Special

    Is this another dreaded under the coke machine, scraped up nickel or is it some sort of error like lamination error? The reverse looks in pretty good condition. Postmint damage or what?:hail:

    I agree that it is more than likely post-mint. But man doesn't it look weird that the metal looks raised?

    I think somebody put dynamite to it ,and ran for there life.\Post dynamite explosion damage ,also melted the rim that;s why the metal is over flowing on the fields of the coin.:crying:Well maybe King Kong took a bite at it.

    The coin is not even worth a nickle anymore a quarter of it is gone it;s probably worth 4 and 3 quarter cents now.
