coin with dime on one side and penny on the other

    The total gram is 3.5g why. 1929 penny should be and 3.11g and the 1963 dime should be 2.3g and total should be 5.11gram. Why is the penny 3.5g ?

    Because they grind down one side of each coin then stick them together.

    I have a coin with 1963 dime on one side and 1929 penny on the other

    It could weigh almost anything, it all depends on how much metal was removed from each coin when someone joined the two together.
