I see alot of folks posting star notes tonight .... so i just gotta share my newest star notes My only 1934 $5 star note and my olny 1934B $10 star note they just arrived in the mail today, and i gotta say i was excited to get them Thanks for looking!!!
Don't know much about paper money, but I've always been a fan of the 1934 series for their rich green color. Beautiful notes indeed!
DJ.... You know how I feel about the vivid ink color of this Series! Even with all the circulation these Great notes have seen, they stand out like proud Giants compared to modern notes of today! The Wonderful character they reveal, sort of like Old Glory flying tatered in the battle laden skies, revealed by burst of light! The inks are fantastic, the notes are beautiful...the stars are simply beautiful.:thumb: Congrats my friend! Regards, RickieB
well sure i would... mind i mean lol i dont think i will ever sell my notes. I just accumulate them. Someday, as i might get more then 1 example, i might. but untill then, i doubt i would ever let a note go
The more I see of that light green seal from 1934, the more I like it. Daggarjon, out of curiousity, how do you display your notes? Do you have several notebooks with currency slips divided by year, by denomination, etc. Do you just have them in boxes and display them with pictures only. Coins give you such nice albums for display, but I wonder how a true paper collector goes about it. Thanks.
If there ever was a Great Color of ink for notes it was the vivid green inks! How I do wish they would return to it and use some of the features from by-gone times!! RickieB
