supplies help with father's day coming and my birthday not far behind, where is the best place to get a 10x loupe. Is that the standard magnifying piece? How much does it run?
Bob, Being new to the hobby, I doubt I'm a good person to advise on good quality loupes. I recently got a very cheap one to start with...it is approx. a 10X and not 30X as advertised by seller...working great so far. Can't say it is the best loupe though...considering the price, it's great as long as it lasts (which may or may not be too long). Anyway, for a beginner like myself, this is a cheap and useful "first loupe".
