I just relisted the first dime and made a point to call it

The first 2009 Dime on ebay, own a part of ebay history.

LOL. Cheesy, yes, but if it works to get a few more bids, cool. If it doesn't, oh well.

People are so gullible, they'll bid :D
Quick to jump the gun, and bid $50, that is for sure! :D
I'll be keeping a close eye on your auction

Ha! it is still at 10 cents, ending tonight....

On a separate note.....I'm buying a box of pennies in San Antonio later today so I can get my D log cabin.

How much for the paperclip? :kewl:

    LOL!!! :D
That papreclip might get to more than retail value! WHO KNOWS!
It would be pretty funny if I did, get a paperclip, put it on ebay, and see who bids! :D
You'll find that log cabin, D, no problem!
Just got my rail splitter, D, today! :D

You know what's funny . . . what you're getting for your circulated 2009-P Dime compared to this: I tried to sell a 2009-S Proof Dime in a 1-day auction that ended last night with a starting price of 3.99 + .99 S+H. I got zero bids!

That is crazy Sholom. That is why I didn't try selling my circulated P dimes earlier....I saw that the proofs weren't selling well. Then several posted to do it and I did as an experiment. Why pay more for a circulated than a proof? It's nuts. Prices seem to be coming way down on my dimes. Last one I sold was for less than half of most of the others.

Well, you will continue to get at least $10 a dime, on each... But probably not another $50 any time soon

More craziness. I re-listed it at $2.99+.99 S&H, and, with two hours left, there is one bid. OK, that's fine. But the guy who made the bid is the same guy who was the sole bidder (and won) the proof Nickel I sold yesterday. I even wrote him telling him that if he wanted other proof coins, we could make a deal (avoid double shipping, double eBay fees, etc.).

He never answered . . . and, instead, will pay the same price today as if he had taken me up on my offer yesterday, and shipping had been combined.

But, still, that seems pretty low for a proof dime.

Even at $10 per dime that equals out to what...500 per roll??? More and more dimes seem to be surfacing now but even $10 per coin is not bad at all. Ill be posting my singles when they come in and when they start dropping below the $10 mark and approaching $5 Ill be posting rolls. I think a roll of dimes should easily bring over $50. Nickels on the other hand so long as no one finds a huge amount of them Ill do single coins for a while until more start appearinG.

On a side note it look like the auction is still hot as can be and has been bid up to $76. Here is the stats:

    91 Watchers
    15 Bids
    1,238 views

4 1/2 days left in the auction. It would be nice to crack the 100 watchers barrier and over $100 in bids. Im not to sure it will reach that high but one can only wish right????

Yeah, I saw your bid earlier. Awesome!

I sold two dimes today at 12.50 and 15.50. Both were one day bids. One more closes tomorrow which was a 3 day bid. I'll bet that one closes higher. It will be interesting to see if that one gets back up to the 20s.

As far as I can tell theyre P's. I highly doubt I will find D's since the place were I got them from is on the East Coast.

Ive been so impatient for the last few days and me being military all mail usually takes 7-10 days or more. Today I went to the post office and was praying for a miracle for those to come in and they did.

    Theyre so pretty!!!!!!

Stop pulling my leg. I dont think Ive been this lucky in a very long time. Its great to have a little luck because sure enough I couldve used it last year after loosing my shirt in the stock market last year to the tune of $20K

I'll be sending some of the proceeds to my dad and some of the profits ill use to buy PM's, you know...real money

it is very hard to get all the 2009 denomination. just buy a clad proof set or mint unc set. you got everything.

    Rodzm:

I hope you know that you owe a BIG thank you to Tmoney and a couple of others. I had mentioned several times that I had some 2009 dimes and a few people said to throw it out on ebay. TMoney said it several times and it was his post that compelled me to go ahead and do it for an experiment. When you saw my first go for 49 bucks, you then found yours with your dad. So give T$ a big "Thanks" :)

My strategy was to sell as fast as I could without flooding the market as I figured other dimes would show up. They have. I did several one day bids, and perhaps that brought my price down. However, I've sold 11 dimes now as my most recent one went for $18+ and have grossed over $300. Unbelievable. No regrets. I'm about to put another one on.

Rodzm...you, on the other had, have a corner on the market on nickels. You may not want to put anymore out until you see how high the first one goes....of course, that is entirely up to you. And that is a good choice to have. You're going to make a lot...
