Just got back from a nice lunch and fun about town and checked the PCGS site to see how my coin submission was doing. I have sent a number of coins to NGC but this is the first I have tried PCGS.
    Here are the results:

    1 6129 1822 50C US XF45
    2 6627 1946 50C US MS64
    3 7134 1882-CC $1 US MS66
    4 7142 1883 $1 US MS65
    5 7144 1883-CC $1 US MS65
    6 7153 1884-CC $1 US MS63PL

Pretty happy with the results. My first capped bust half. The 1822 Half Dollar I was thinking XF45 and may bump up to AU50. It is a O-108 R3 but I didn't have it attributed.

    The 1946 Half Dollar I was thinking MS65 but only a MS64.

The 1882-CC Morgan I was thinking a solid MS65 but was very happy when I saw the MS66. Got that one on Ebay for about $225.

The 1883 Morgan was in a PCI holder graded MS65 I got on Ebay for about 35 bucks. Cracked it out and sent it in and came back MS65. So there are some accurately graded coins from some of these second rate grading companies. Just have to look around a bit.

The 1883-CC Morgan was in a GSA case and I was thinking MS64 and got a MS65 so very happy there.

The 1884-CC Morgan was in a GSA case and I was thinking MS63 possibly Proof Like and it got MS63PL.

I did send in a 1890-S Morgan Dollar in the Redfield (Paramount) holder graded MS65 as a crossover. I listed a min grade of MS63 and my jaw dropped when it did not crossover but can't complain with the results.:thumb:

Thanks. I am getting better after about 5 years in the hobby but still have a lot to learn. This forum has certainly helped me greatly.

Thanks everyone. It was in a gold holder. I had to go back to check because I couldn't remember. Actually paid about 50 bucks for it. Still not bad.
