Hey, it's me again. I have someother coins that I am not really sure about here. Maybe somebody will know what they are. One is a canadian coin. Not sure what the half cent is though. An history on that? Are they in good shape?

Ok, that's good info. Now I know what they are at least. How about the gold coin? What is that worth today? It is a 1976 Canadian 100 dollar olympic gold coin in it's original package. What do you think that would be worth?

Based on the visible card information, you seem to have KM#115, a 14K gold business-type strike with mintage of 650,000 and AGW of .250 oz.

KM#116, a 22K proof of virtually identical design and mintage of 337,242, but an AGW of .500 oz. was also issued.

While some collectors of Olympic memorabilia or Canadian commems/bullion might go higher for something to complete a collection, generally you could expect a dealer to pay no more than 85-90% of the melt value.

On eBay you might expect to get 105-115% of melt, but by the time you pay eBay/PayPal fees sale to a dealer might be a better net deal.

I'd try the World and Ancient Coin forum for that - but it's so shiny, I'd guess it to be a replica. Just a guess.
