That's a rare coin you've got there. Hard to tell but looks about ms64 from the scans. Maybe $700 or so?

in ms64 here are the prices for the others

    81cc: $600
    82cc: $250
    83cc: $250
    84cc: $250

Those are approximate numbers. Prices for cc's are down right now but when the economy gets better that will change.

You have provided okay pictures, for the coin
My best guess is MS63, but I can see no luster on the coin, any chance, that you can take a picture, that shows the mint luster of the coin, with the details shown?
Retail Price for MS63 1885 CC Morgan: $660

The pictures you have provided show off detail, enough to wear I can say this coin is uncirculated. You have a nice coin

i scanned them on my computer. i agree that this picture do not show the mirror finish or luster. some have a shinny back ground while the head is like frosted.

Well better pics of this one, as well as pictures of the others would be most appreciated, and it would help us grade the coins better, and determine value, a coin like this is a very nice, and I would consider getting it graded.

Not seeing a whole lotta wear, but not a whole lot of luster either...
Do you have a camera you can take pictures with?

um, I'm surprised no one has noticed, but the first coin looks more like an 1883 cc to me, not an 1885. no?

The 1881 cc is beautiful. I can make out plenty of luster from the pics, and it looks MS-64 to me.

Yes but he asked the value of an 1885 :)

If I pictured a St Gaudens, and asked for the value of a wheat cent, which value would you give me? :D

Ok, well color me confused. Everyone is stating the value of an 1885-CC and associating it with the grade of the coin pictured which is an 1883-CC. Just to be clear, the value of the initial coin pictured is not $660-$700. It's more like $200. If he has an 1885-CC, we could not possibly know the value of it without a pic..:goofer::eek:

magicman, do you own an 1885-CC?

Yes coin pictured is at $200, and most of the others are at $200
Magicman, we are going to need to see the pics, of all the coins :)

Why would you ask the price of an '85 and post a picture of an '83? Just curious.

Okay, well that is your 1884, or so it looks like
    I see wear...
    Probably a AU coin...
Worth a little less than $200

Try finding a setting on your camera to marco...And try to get detailed shots of the coin. If you can't, then we will need one of the pics, like you provided, and that scan of each one, to help us grade the coins

The one you just posted looks like an 84, though the pics are pretty dark. It looks BU as well, (maybe high AU), but I would venture it's worth around $200 +/- $50.

Let's see a shot of your 85! That is the key to your run, although I think your sitting pretty with that nice 81 as well.

by the way...WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!!
