A BU roll of 1925 Cents? These walked into the store today... I have never seen an original roll of cents from the 20's. I wanted to share. WOW!
Got any MS66's in there??? Get the best ones graded, and tell us what happens!!! WOWWWWWWW A WHOLE ROLL!!!! WOWOWOWOWOW! I can't even spell straight!
Is that an assembled roll or an original roll? Either way, I will bet there are a few people here who would appreciate your passing them out.
First time I have ever seen a 1925 roll. Did they even "roll" cents back then or were they just shipped around in canvas bags? Yes. Like Skippy, I am interested in how that particular roll arrived in your shop: original paper roll? later paper roll? coin tube?
WOW, you're kidding. The oldest roll I've ever seen was a roll of 40-S about 6 years ago, and that was in hawaii.
Well guys, I was kind of holding out on you, there were more then just the roll of 25's. I bought a small hoard of early Lincolns. I had partial (30-40) BU coins of 1923, 1925, 1927, and 1929. I had full rolls of 1925, 1927, and 1928. So there was a roll and a half plus of 25's and 27's. They came in in tubes from the original owners description the original rolls were busted out and put in Lincoln cent books. There were also a couple of BU red brown 1910's, 1918 D's and S's, and 1919's. There are some stone cold killers in this batch and when I get them back I'll offer them here on CT first. NGC is going to like me this month that is for sure. I'll post an update when I figure out how many are going in.
