Kim, when you track your order you will see that the day before you get delivery, the package is on route to your local post office. Depending on how things go, expect delivery the next day or day after.
Hope this helps and enjoy your new Lincolns. I put my orders in at 1:45 on the 14th and they have just charged the credit cards fri morning, so guess they will be shipped the first of the week.

Thanks Kimdehart -- I'd better wait awhile. My Federal Reserve Issued cash supply is rather low. (Maybe I could just print some, like in the "real" world!)

Yup -- if the "version 2" cent follows the pattern of version 1, then right around the time when version 3 comes out, you'll be able to get version 2 pretty cheaply.

It's quite possible that you ca get that on ebay. I had some Harrison dollar sets that were going crazy -- but I had opened one just to see what they were inside. After I sold the sealed sets, I sold the opened one (with full disclosure of course), and it didn't hurt my sales price at all.

actually billincolo was looking for the 1st issue, not the second. Unfortunately he missed the boat and his only chance of getting them for a better price is to wait for the prices to come down, which IMHO will happen soon enough.

cancel your lincoln cent roll order and order it again on jun1. order clad proof set together with lincoln cent roll. you save $4.95 shipping. isn't it great?.

your cost of pair cent roll is only $8.95. or else your cost will be $13.90. $4.95 + $8.95 equal to $13.90.

I'm thinking that the 2009 Unc set may prove to be a great investment!

I'm wondering about ordering a crapload of them. I have still not seen a 2009 nickel or dime. There are none listed on eBay, nor have there been any sold this year.

Wouldn't ya think that those might bring a real premium! There's an awful lot of people out there that probably think they will just pick them up sometime to complete their collection for 2009. I'm thinking there may be a lot of empty holes in collections.

    Any thoughts?

First one on eBay! 3 hours ago!

I checked this morning and there had been nada.

Still, I think they will be rare!

It might be time to start buying the boxes of nickel and dimes and sifting through them for 2009s. From what I've heard, there will be no more minted this year.

Yes that is true, but with the millions of them minted, they will not be rare either...

Remember that the Mint Set coins are NOT the same as the circulation issues. They have a matte finish and are easily distinguishable from the circulation coins. If you think that the 09 nickels and dimes will be worth more because of rarity, you could be right, but the Mint Set coins are NOT the same, and will likely never sell for the premium that the circulation strikes will.

    Maybe you guys are right.

Not all mint sets are Satins nowdays are they? I still have about 50 of the 2005 satin sets in my closet.
