my wife was talking to a friend who owns a selfserve carwash business--the kind you put quarters in. She had to roll a couple weeks worth of quarters and my wife volunteered me. My finds in rolling $900 of quarters today: 20 bicentenial quarters for my son 2 Puerto Rico quarters and about a dozen Washington DC A foreign coin (Anyone know what it is?) pictured below. AND, drum roll please, my first silver quarter in YEARS! Take a look at the 'I' in "In" is that lean normal?
a silver find is always a good find. the other is: China, Peoples Republic (Y-1069) 1 Yuan or Dollar (Chromium-Plated Steel) : 1999- Obv Legend: 中国人民银行 (ZHONGGUO RENMIN YINHANG) YI YUAN 1 date Obv Desc: Chinese characters above denomination and date Rev Legend: ZHONGGUO RENMIN YINHANG Rev Desc: Chrysanthemum, RMB repeated three times on edge
I've never heard of damage from a rolling machine. Excuse my ignorance, but how would that effect a letter on the coin?
