Looks like the Mint has shipped my (5) sets of 2009 Lincoln Cent Two-Roll Set "Formative Years" (LP2) today. This is much quicker than the first sets. Has anyone got a msg from the US Mint regarding this, that is if you have order from them.
Almost everybody who ordered early has I ordered at 12:28, and all people I know of that ordered before me, have had theirs shipped
I went and checked mine, and my delivery date estimation is 5/26. It's already at the Atlanta GA fed ex, and that's not that far. Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll hand off to the post office tonight and I'll get it tomorrow instead. (A girl can dream, can't she LOL?)
On my order for the first set of Lincolns my order came in 2 days early so I bet you get them tomorrow. Good luck!
I see that they've charged my credit card account. I've also got charged for the Lincoln Silver Dollar today. I'm hoping to get my 5 rolls and one silver Lincoln next week. I can barely wait.
The mail man just delivered my order! My delivery date was for 5/26, so I'm happy. The mint was on the ball this time, they did great on the delivery. (I know it's Pitney-Bowes, but I always say the mint LOL)
Very nice! :thumb: Congrats Mine went from Indianapolis to Missouri, hoping to get it here in Texas, soon!
5 Rolls shipped 5/21/09 and received on 5/23/09. From the looks of the posts, it looks like they are expediting all orders. I wonder if the quality will be better on these since they these planned to ship rolls from the mint this time instead if an afterthought?
The 95% proofs in the proof set are scheduled to be released in 8 more days. I wonder if they will begin shipping immediately after June 1st?
Mines still in process............how long does it take to pack and ship 250,000 sets...:rolling::rolling::rolling:
i ordered and cancel. then ordered it and again cancel it. the mintage is bothering me. and the price is going south.
So tantalizingly close you can taste it, eh? The latest info I have on mine is that they left Martinsburg, WV on Sunday night. Martinsburg is just 90 miles from where I live . . .
i will pass, over 200,000 rolls have been sold at premium, so 20,000,000 cents will likely stay in mint state forever, plus lots more will be in regular rolls, don't see how it's going to appreciate in value, unless people buy an sell right away.
