Nice one. It's on my list of coins I want to find eventually.

Kinda OT: Anyone got a favorite online dealer for World coins (besides MA-Shops and VCoins). I've got some Swedish and German stuff I'm looking for.

Sweden 2 Kronor (1897), This is holding the Sweden spot in my World Coin Collection currently.

Why is it that the Oscar II commems are cheaper than the Carl XVI Gustav ones?

Only time will tell if the Oscar II commems will start to go up in price. I'm a commemorative collector and I've found that its not easy finding nice mint state ones.
Why are Carl Gustav commems cheaper ? I would guess there more popular with collectors. In my part of the World, coins from Sweden are not easy to find in any grade. When a nice one comes up for sale in high grade, I'll jump on it if the price is good. The two I posted are the nicest I've found in quite some time.

I like a nice NT coin also. Toned coins make up a good portion of my collection.

Both the coin designs are awesome.

I guess it is because Oscar II commems actually are coins. They were used in every day trade, and produced in relatively high quantities. Carl XVI Gustav commems are just medallions stamped with a value, and are sold from the Swedish mint at a high price.
