batch from old-time collection

    Agreed! Escially it being UNC. I don't think I have seen any coins from Greenland untill now.

    Make sure that dragon is not fake...
    A lot of those are counterfeited, also, weigh it, and make sure it matches would it should weigh, and do the magnet test

    WOW:bigeyes: Truly speechless, good thing I can type still.:p That is a beautiful coin! I am drooling all over my keyboard. (if it messes my keyboard up are you going to buy me a new one?) I bet you paid a pretty penny for it.

    Beautiful! 1926 1 Krone Mintage 286,982 HCN-Hans Christian Nielsen 1919-1927 GJ-Knud Gunnar Jensen 1901-1933 H-Copenhagen (Kobenhavn) mint $60 in BU
    Last Greenland coins withdrawn on July,1 1967 replaced by Danish coins. The only 1 Krone minted I believe.

    For how nice that one is I wouldn't see any problem it being an $80 to $100 coin.

    I had not weighed it until you suggested it. It weighs 13.45 grams.

    It has several features that are indicative of a genuine coin. It is a struck piece. I'll take some close up photos but it is time for sleep now.

    Yeah, me either. It is really nice! Just posting book values. I have never found a greenland coin at book value.

    Looks alright to me :)
    I like the dragons, although I am by no means a collector, although I know somebody who is a BIG TIME lover of these coins!

    10, 15, & 20 Kopeks

    Hello Byrd,
    I only took photos of the 20 Kopek last night. There are two 10 Kopek, two 15 Kopek, and two 20 Kopek in the lot. They are all dated 1915 & 1916.
