Honestly, if you know what you are looking for in Jefferson's, you can get a real deal if they are un-slabbed. At least that's how I feel.
Yes, I've heard people looking through dealer boxes, and getting good deals... And eBay can be your friend as well, with the FS, a lot of people just list lots of jeffersons, not knowing anything, and people can get real steals
Picked these up end of March/April beginning. Have my eye on some nice coins going up for sale this summer on HA.
Penny Lady if you ever want to sell that 1869 PCGS MS66 let me know, that is a gorgeous coin....:bow::bow: That 1877 ain't bad either !!! Everybodies coins look great...its fun to see what we all collect....heck I've already added 2 to my "want list".
Thanks, I certainly didn't think of the idea myself though. and you would think its inexpensive... until you start getting to the old stuff, even then it can be pricey (like draped bust coins). Certainly not as pricey, in fact, usually 50%+ off from normal price. But when the coin is a 200 dollar coin, it may still run you $75!
