Here is my feedback. How can a coin website ban certain coins? If any government of any country found it acceptable to put the design on their coinage, I fail to see how the coin can be so offensive that it needs to be censored. Either the coin's design is a artistic depiction or a political platform. Art should never be censored and ignoring political coins such as those from Nazi Germany are denying history. Neither of these two practices of censorship will lead to enlightenment or heightened education.

IMO, the only reason a coin should be censored is that if somehow it exposes the owner/operator of the site to personal financial liability. Short of that, coins should not be censored just because this is a family oriented website. I agree that profanity and abusive language should be censored, but to ban coins from a coin website is just not American and borders on fascism.

Telling me there is a list of coins that is banned only infuriates me more. I implore you never to post such a list on this site EVER! I want you to know that I respect the authority of the owners and moderators of this site to run it how they see fit. However, without members, there is no site. Advertising and supporting censorship of coins on a coin website will inevitably lead to a decline in membership. I you would like to discuss this further, I respectfully request that we take this to a PM discussion.

    Not my own, just examples.

Italy has a lot of really well designed coins, pre WWII, featuring full length women.

It amazes me that we have only seen on Britannia in this thread. Here is a gorgeous design of a full bodied beautiful woman. PS, I don't own this coin.

I have just spent a good 10 mins reading this entire thread and I am thinking that nominating this thread as thread of the month may be the way to go.
It's my hope that by doing so historians 50 years from now may have a better chance of stumbling across this and see all the 'Neanderthal' North American thinking and "Victorian attitudes" that still exist amongst a select few when it comes to the female human body, in the beginning of the 21st century.
I'm amazed not only how many people were sent into a loop by the word 'pornographic', but most importantly, how this entire subject matter appears so sensitive to some, that they feel their forum contributions require threats, censorship, editing, and ongoing anchoring of ground rules when it comes to this content .
To the 14 year old kid who thinks people need to grow up?..Move over I'm on your side kiddo. God forbid if any of them turn the corner of an art gallery and low and behold staring them in the face is a nude masterpiece by a reknown artist. Horror of horrors!!
I’m almost certain the individual that started this interesting and honest thread, is still busting a gut over all this.
I think ongoing I'll start taking more of a back seat online contributions. I certainly wouldn't want to throw this entire site into another pandemonium.
