The Coin that everybody hated---Do you still hate it?

The first time I posted a photo of this 1886 Morgan Dollar ANACS MS65, she was not very well received by the Cointalk community. I have taken some new photos and would like to see if anyone has changed their mind. Please vote in the attached poll. I am only giving you two options. Either you love it or you hate it. I haven't seen this one before Lehigh. I like it. Nice obverse patina , well struck.

 

and I assume it offers a really nice cart wheel effect.

Whats not to like? The break in the rainbow toning? I think I can live with that. Matter of fact, I'd like to live with that.

Oh no! I thought voted before I read the whole thing, thinking you meant the general design of the series. I actually like your coin, it has character.

The untoned sections of the obverse seem to be marbled, I would love to see a coin that shows the same thing throughout.

Now, I'm questioning the 65 grade, by ANACS... Looks like she got cut in the lip...
But I think the reverse makes up for it, so I guess I can say a good 65

I remember this coin from before. I think it has attractive colors and is pretty, but I don't care for it because of the "run" in the toning. I would be happy to have this coin in my collection but I would not pay a premium for the toning. So...I don't really love it or hate it. So, I'll won't place a vote and simply say it's "OK."

 

I'm not a fan of rainbow toning so this coin doesn't particularly grab me.

Yes, a few, but only because they were priced right for the grade.

 

I like toned coins, but I have a hard time enjoying single sided toned coins.

 

You need one more selection in your survey. Middle of the road. Personally I like all toned coins but this one needs a few more years. Come back in 50 years and ask this question again.

To me hating a toned coin is a little sever unless it would be done unnaturally.

I had to vote for "I hate it", even though hate is a bit harsh. It would be a nice coin if not for what I'd swear is water damage where the stain overpowers any beauty the toning might have given it. If not for that, it would be a really nice coin.

Two things bug me. First is the runs in the toning and I also don't care for the single sided toning.

Now if both sides looked like the reverse...........
