Well, I got my five sets ordered within the first thirty minutes, just received my Log Cabin cents about a week ago. Do you think these will sell out also? How long will we wait on delivery this time? And when can I order my 95% copper set? Can't wait, I enjoy the Lincoln cent series!!!!!!!!!!!!
These are already "sold out" They said they have already accepted enough orders, to sell out, but they are still accepting orders, for a 30-45 wait list, and most of those orders will be canceled, if you got any kinda confirmation yet, consider yourself lucky..Everybody is at risk to lose their pennies...Even though they say first come first serve...
LOOK The time of my post... On the mint website yesterday, and only some of us saw this for sure (me and chiefbullsit) It said, we have exceeded the number of orders for this item, but will continue to take orders for it, through a wait list process, or something like that.. THEN THEY CHANGED IT AGAIN!
I am willing to bet that LP3 will go on sale before you rec. LP2. But hey, it's summer, enjoy the weather, they will get to you eventually, don't fret!
Mine is 7/15, don't care if they don't come till August, just send them to me. Don't care that the L1 and L2 are over priced by the mint, I hope to be able to buy the remaining two sets and the other comemoratives later in the year, if the mint produces them, and would love to see the 1909 VDB cent recreated for 2010 and then the series change to something like say maybe, the IHC. Ha Ha
You think they are overpriced at the mint... They would sell if they were at $22.95 a set... Notice LP1 96,000 sets, SOL OUT, for $8.95 Now they sell for anywhere between $50-$100 on ebay! Now, the LP2 PRESALES, go for around $40 on the bay now... And once these are IN HAND, they WILL go for around $100... I think the mint is doing me a favor by pricing them low, but not doing me a favor, with PITNEY BOWES...
I got my order in around 12:20 P.M. and they just moved my ship date from 5/29 to 7/15. I never really thought that they would ship on 5/29. Just have to sit and wait as the mint has no sense. Charlie
Nobody thought they would ship that early...Anybody ordering today, at 7/15, will get theirs near Christmas...
It will be worth the wait, won't be reselling any of mine, just keep them to the end of time. No, I haven't even seem one of the new cents, even though I have five boxes from the mint each containing one roll each of P and D Lincoln Birth Year Cents, I have chose not to open them at this point. I didn't have the indivual white boxes from the mint shipment package individually postmarked at the Post Offfice, but I believe I will have these next boxes stamped to verify delivery date. I learned a lot of patience with the mint a few months ago, while I was awaiting my 2009 UHR, the mint website was down during that time in a couple of critical area's and there was no way to track your order or if you had one, had it been delivered and lost, things are better with the Lincoln cents, so far!!!!!
Yep, and tell us when you get them, a few days before Christmas... I ordered the day they came out, on 12:28 And it is at 7/15... No telling when I'll get mine, that 7/15 is the moved one from 5/29 original... URGGG..This make me angry :headbang:
Hmm, looks like they moved my ship date to 7/15 too. My confirmation was at 12:37pm on the first day, within the first hour. I bet I'll get my 2009 proof set before these. :goof:
I got my order placed on the first day at 12:13... mine is also showing an expected shipping date of 7/15 now. Obviously all are falling into this category.... Oh well, that's the US Mint... LOL :whistle: :headbang:
