This guy sounds like the same guy, that use to be on SHOP NBC I was wondering where he went... I liked listening to him... He had a good voice, although he does get annoying.. 1921 P-D-S NGC MS62 Morgan Set For $199.95??? HOLY CRAP! These guys are big ole' ripoffs...
I watched the Coin Country program before Grady left and Robert Charles came on and the program changed to Coin Country Coin Vault, but RC didn't help, he sounds like a used car salesmen, never stops talking and throwing a lot of numbers around to support his conversation with himself.
I plan to buy some of the television silver dollars as soon as my $10,000,000 arrives from my new friend the Nigerian Prince. :smile
I've been watching this since 11:40 And I'm STILL alive!!! And I have not thrown a thing at my computer yet! Wonder how much longer I'll last... This is actually kinda fun to watch
Some of the prices and claims are just so outrageous you have to wonder why someone doesn't report them for false advertising. Icewater
I had to take a quick look at the Coin Vault's website. And went to the dollars. The very first ad that caught my eye: 20 Different Morgan Dollars MS63 PCGS $1,099.00 Looking up red book prices, the LOWEST MS63 Morgan is $50. $50 x 20 Morgans = $1,000 So is that extra $100 a rip off? Or simply the price of buying at MS63? Curious, rad1964 {;-()>
Why buy near retail??? Fair prices for the morgans, that they will send you, is about $38-$40 Now, that equals to this.. $39 times 20 equals $780... You can get them cheaper from a local dealer or ebay... So they are a ripoff, unless you are looking to buy at, or over retail
Yeah. tmoney is pretty much correct on this one. In this case I believe the Redbook prices are high. And you should get a bit of a break for buying 20 also.
I saw Gerstel one time selling 2 pounds of 90% silver (referred to as an emergency box lol) for 600 bucks. Now, it sounds like a minor rip off, accept for the people who watched it long enough, (like me) and realized, he means TROY pounds!! He slipped up while he was talking and went to say 12 or 24 (can't remember which but both would refer to troy oz.), but then soon backed up and started talking about something else. It was 90% junk silver for $25 a troy oz. Supposedly people were buying it.
Oh, and it looks like you get ONE CC.. STILL A RIP OFF.. WOW! $1,2999/21=$61 a coin.... Now $1,299-$15 for NGC Storage Box, and $1284-$220 for the CC $1,064/21= Around $51 a coin!!! Not outrageous, but still, WOW!!! $35-$45 a coin would be fair...
AND NOW ON COIN COLLECTOR 10 OUNCE MORGAN DOLLAR BAR for $249.95 Silver is around $14 so $14 times 10 is $140... That is over $100 over melt... DANG! And they sell those out, each and every time.. THAT IS AMAZING!
Or even when they are selling Silver Dollars (Morgan or Peace) they call it 100% silver rather that they are 90% silver made. Not jus shop at home or coin vault, try HSN or QVC. Alot of these sellers are making big buck from people don't know much about coins at all.
Coin Vault terminology: PF70 Ultra Cameo = triple superlative, triple the value. Hurry they will not last! When I go to the local coin shop and want to see the owner turn red :headbang: Ill bring up the Coin Vault. He enjoys telling me he has some triple superlative coins, but I better hurry, they may not last before I leave the shop.
LOL!!! I like your dealer already, and I have not met the guy! QUICK HURRY, SALE WILL NOT LAST... 1 SILVER BAR, 10 OUNCES..ONLY $300...
