Hope you don't get fired Lou... He obviously is just in denial that he didn't get a good deal, or maybe he just believes that you are wrong... Are maybe he doesn't like you because you are smart on coins, who knows...
green, I have worked with him for 30 years and he's harmless. Now some of the other supervisors I have to watch out for. We had a big shake up at the plant and they brought in some new management. So I am watching my back and it ain't going to well. There's 7 employees that I can remember here at the plant that collect coins and I'm sure they will all tell him the same thing. One of the other guys that collects is also a supervisor and I have seen some of his coins and I was just amassed at the coins he has. He says he doesn't collect moderns and for him anything after 1850 is a modern. Lou
I tried!!! There's not to may folks that even know that he collects. He brought in a box of coins for me to look at at work. Left them with me at my office an said he be back latter. There must have been 60 or 70 coins in the box and over half of them where colonials. I was scared to leave the office with those coins there in my office. And I can lock the office! He also collects early Canadian coins. He also showed me a coin die he bought from the mint. It was a die for striking Roosevelt dimes and on this die there was a Roosevelt dime still on it. Lou
