Wow -- did you win? My confirmation email was 12:09 (but my order on the USMint email site says 12:13)

But my order number was 31678... Did you type yours in correctly? How'd I get a lower number?

FWIW, I also logged on around 11:50 am . . . kept hitting refresh until 12:01 when suddenly the form appeared, did quick checkout, etc. . . It took about 2 minutes for each screen to show up after I clicked on something, but, luckily, I only had about four screens to go through.

 

I don't think the order numbers have anything to do with the order in which you placed the orders. Mine was over 31 thousand as well and I didn't place my order until after 8pm on the 14th PST. I think they're random codings is all.

Mine wasn't 31678, mine was 31678xxx -- i.e., over 31 million. All my other orders are in numerical sequence.

 

Then it's without a doubt not the order in which orders are placed. I'm 100% sure the Mint didn't receive 31 million orders yesterday LOL

Just because they are in sequence doesn't mean they started at 000000001 either. Further, we're not just talking about all the orders yesterday.

Consider: here's my order history for the last few months:

That seems, to me, to be strong evidence that the order numbers are in sequence.

OK, I googled a bit, and found that:

The Log Cabin went on sale at the mint on March 13, and was sold out on (or the day before) March 26.

Yes I know, but most of us were hoping for a really quick sell out, making the demand so much greater... I'm hoping for a sellout today really, but I'd be dreaming...Maybe sometime next week..EARLY NEXT WEEK, is what I'm HOPING

 

Well as of now shipping is backordered till middle of July, yesterday at around 3 it was June, so there moving pretty quick.
