Mint disables search on catalog

I am hoping that they are just getting ready for the 12:00 release of the 2nd penny.

I will be mad if I wait and still can't order them.

whats being released? the cents in a roll, that is rolled by a 3rd party, but are the same cents that are found in ciculation?

 

The circulation cents in a roll are getting released today in Indiana, and two sites in DC. The "mint wrapped roll" are supposed to be available for ordering online only at 12 noon ET today.

 

The second phase of the lincoln cent. I am guessing in the white wrappers.

All a scam for mint to make money...
Then once we get them, and they are all sold out, we sell them to the crazy collectors out there who pay $100 for the two roll set we paid $8.95 for... Nice profit if you ask me

Can't place an order over the phone either. Just tried twice.
"We are unable to answer your call at this time. Please try again later." Yeah...

 

Yes -- that is it. By 12:01 pm they had it up and running, but sloooowwww, and bu 12:11 pm, I had my order in of 5 sets (just for speculative purposes -- i.e., flipping them on eBay as soon as they sell out at the mint -- as I am not a roll collector)

 

It's not down . . . just moving at glacier speed right now.

 

i wish people threw money at us like that i bet a lot of dealers will make a play for the rolls

THE MINT SUCKS... I can't get through... URGGGG!
I hit qty of 2, and add to cart...I've been waiting for 15 minutes

 

Finally got my order in at 12:18 Eastern time. Last Lincoln order was in by 12:04. Slower than slow today.

Bummer . . . I started at 12:01 and got through. I'm not surprised that anyone who started 10 minutes later, like 12:10 or so, hit a much bigger crush than I did. Hang in there!

 

Took awhile, but I got my order in after 20 minutes. Whew.

 

I got in, logged in early and got my order placed and finalized for (5) roll sets... I don't collect them, and am not reselling... getting them to give to a junior coin club that we sponsor... Just really disappointed that they didn't have more distribution points to allow for a more diverse and equal distribution. Living in the Denver area, it would have been nice to pick some up at the mint sales outlet there.... Good luck in getting them. My order is placed, but that still is not a guarantee...
