If I had to choose I like the eagle but I wonder how good it will look on the coin. The capital building looks good but honestly I agree with the above poster about being "over" buildings. LP-13 is growing on me, with some tweaking maybe softening up the corners of the shield I could get on board. The flag...5 year olds could do better than that design, maybe if it were waving or had some kind of depth?
H.S. art contest...LOL! you're killin' me bud The flag reminds of the RL flag on Ralph Lauren's Polo Sport Cologne/Perfume. But all look pretty amateurish... -LTB
Did anyone see the reverses in this weeks Numismatic News (April 28). I think almost all of them were better than the top 4 , especially the other wreath design, and some of the Capitol designs. Ahhh and the 5 designs for the new dollars are on the same page (p.24)
Well, they fooled us again! None of the designs made public were approved and one that wasn't was the one that was selected. Wheaties II: Electric boogaloo is going to be the one. I wonder if Teddy Roosevelt will replace Washington on the Quarter?
I don't have creative talent, I'm just a critic. ("A critic is a man who creates nothing and believe that this gives him the right to judge the works of others. There is some justification in this. He is unbiased and hates all creative people equally." L Long) It's also where it was housed when the Union was divided.
