how about 1/2 cent to dollar? That wouldn't be as hard as all the way to $100 as that would be super expensive. I would do this: 1/2 cent: draped bust once i get one cent: 1909 vdb ms63 2 cent: my 1866 f12 3 cent: silver once i get one nickel: ??? I have a nice buff but need it for my type set... 7.5 cent: ...oh yeah dime: 1941S merc rainbow toned in avatar 20 cent: seated liberty once i get one quarter: still don't know half dollar: 1962 proof dollar: 1923 peace ms62
Sounds like a good set! I agree up to 100 would be expensive, lol I got carried away , especially if you included the $4 Stella .
I put together the cent through half today! Here it is! 1892 columbian expo 1932 washington 1941-S mercury 1968-S jefferson pictured, switched out with a 1957 proof jefferson 1909 VDB lincoln P.S. This will be a frequently upgraded set so I'll keep you posted. Make sure to post yours if you make one!
The problem for a manufacturer to produce such albums is of course praticality. Not enough pages and individuals to mass produce these suggestiois. Now if this could be expanded to include pages for a husband, wife, kids, it might go over with a company like Whitman. I still think there would be nothing to loose by contacting them.
You're absolutely correct! They are not related to each other in the slightest! I just took coins that I liked that I didn't need for my type set.
This is an easy one for me. This is an easy one for me. Cent - 1909-VDB in MS-64 RB. Nickle - 1913 type 1 or 2 in MS-64. Dime - Mecury 1916-P in MS-64. Quarter - 1917-P in MS-64. Half - Walker any date MS-64 - plus a Oregon Trail in same grade. Dollar - 1903 Morgan in MS64 Half Cent - early 1803, 2, 0r 1 in VF-20 to 30. Large cent (same as half cent). 3-cent silver first or second year issue in XF-45. 3-cent nickle in same. 2-cent in same as 3-cent & 2-cent. Half Dime 1837 in VF-30. Twenty Cent piece first year in VF-25. I also might add a Peace Dollar like a 1921 in AU. This would make a nice set - I think I'll just do it - thanks for the thought!!!
