    Just received my order from Heritage and was rather surprised to find this one. Here are Heritage's pix. I suspected that there might be a little toning, but................

    Looks like you scored nicely !!!!

    It brings up a topic that need to be addressed. Auction house pictures. I will never again, I repeat never, bid again on pictures alone. I will pay a fee to a looker to view lots if I cannot attend and view in person.

    You lucked out bigtime, nice score !!!!! NOw get that to Todd at BlueCC for some primo artwork quality pics.

    I have no clue what they were trying to show with their pix, but it was not what the coin really looked like. I checke the scratch marks just to make sure it was the same coin. It is.

    Well, it shows you want you can do with pictures. Here's my 22D, just moving the cam to a different angle on the reverse shows a dramatic change.

    NICE! I love the die fatigue stretch marks on the back of the portrait! I know most don't like that, but I do and seek coins with that.

    I cannot tell for sure about your steelies, but they look pretty clean from what I can make out. Nice coins!

    He says" My 1966 SMS" - Special Mint Set. Plus, they made no proofs in 1966.
