Hello everyone, I wonder if someone could assist me with a problem... I'm trying to import a UHR Double eagle and need a document to show the gold purity, so that it can be exempt from import duties.

Could anyone perhaps provide me with a scan of the COA? I believe this is my best bet...

    Many thanks.

    .9999 Fine gold

BTW - Welcome to coin talk. Have you tried usmint.gov? They might have what you are looking for, or eventually, somebody should be able to upload a copy.

Hello and thanks for the reply! I've tried usmint.gov and even called the mint about this but the best I could get was just the product brochure, which doesn't seem to be enough. :rolling:

Good luck. I do have a copy of the UHR COA, but I do not have the capabilities to scan it and up load it. Sorry. Hopefully someone else will. But I can say with 99.99% confidence that the coin is .9999 Fine gold. Hope this helps.

Yea it's clear enough what the purity of the gold is, I just need that information on an official looking document to make the authorities happy ;)
