Picked up 3 $20 rolls of Kennedy halves from Wells Fargo yesterday and discovered all 3
    Were solid 40%ers 65-68.
The teller had said she had more if I wanted so I jumped in the car and rushed back to the bank, by that time she was on her lunch break and I waited around the shopping mall for 45 min or so until she got back.
Worth the wait. Scored another 3 full $20 rolls (40%).
I got to chatting with the teller who told me the halves were brought in recently
By a young man who's Grandfather had passed away.
All said and done 240 halves=35.49 OZ=$438 silver melt value (conflation silver melt calculator) except for one 63 Franklin that slipped in there.
I plan to sit on them for a while and see what silver does in the next couple of months before I sell or more likely trade at my local dealer.
Some of the 66 & 67(almost half) are really gem condition, so I’m thinking of holding on to a few that just seem too nice to consign to the smelter.
It's amazing what’s still out there but as you guys well know it takes equal parts luck and persistence to find.

I have never seen $20 rolls of $1/2 before.
Are you sure that they wern't $10 rolls?

Or they must have been pretty big.

The $20 rolls are less common than the $10s but you run into them from time to time.
I shot a couple of web-cam captures of the rolls i scored yesterday.
    check it out.

    Lots of wheats

This happened around a month ago but forgive me because I just now saw your thread.

I went to the local bank to see if they had any 2009 pennies. The lady said that all we have is older rolls. I got about 10 rolls to see if I would get lucky. As I started to open them, I saw wheat after wheat. The other rolls were the same. I went straight back to the bank and ask the teller if they had any more. I ended up getting 20 dollars worth of wheat rolls and another 10 worth of mixed rolls (wheats and memorial) with the newest date being 1975.
I did ask if the person brought any other denominations but they said no.

The wheats ranged from 1909 to 1958, with several before 1940.

It's because that kind of doubling is considered to be damage, not the doubled die. This was supposed to be a reply to post # 1830, "I can find no information of these on coppercoins.com , conecaonline.org , lincolncentresource.com or the Web in gerenal."

KFFMNMK- you said you found TWO 69 s double dies- these are very rare. Probably machine doubling. Last one found in MS 64 I think went for 6 figures- a guy in Michigan or something.

Yes- post some photos. That would be helpful. PCGS brings higher values in the market. Post photos as a true double die of the 69 S is quite dramatic like the 1955.
