    Ahhh ,100 years ago ....1909 such a great year for coins.

    BTW the 65 is MUCH better than the 66 in eye appeal IMO.

    Also, the worst part about the heat is hearing someone say that, "it's a dry heat" :rolling:

    All I can tell you is that my 1909 VDB Lincoln is as cool as the other side of the pillow. That coin is perfect representation of what my collection is all about. I mean, you didn't really expect a full red specimen did you.

    Here's another 1909-S, but it's not a penny

    It's a $10 Indian, with a repunched mintmark. The Breen encyclopedia says it is very rare, but no one at the Portland ANA show was interested in it. :crying:
