Ya maybe the need isn't there anymore. Some of the Coin News and Magazines Said this is the Hotties Coin out there today and yes there is others.

The last time I saw this type of enthusiasm for a coin it was 1995 for the doubled-die. Those prices have held over time, and for a variety nonetheless. These coins are widely collected and unless some gush of these coins comes available on the market, the coins will hole their value.

2 P and 2 D for 51¢ including postage? Tell me where, cuz I'd like a few at that price!

Well, here's a single cent that sold for $0.06 (including postage!)

    Here
, and here are auctions that were 2 P and 2 D for 51¢ including postage. There were lots more.

well, every once in a while an auction backfires on the seller. At 6 cents, there's no way he didn't lose money on it

the new design 2010 lincoln cent will be better look than four designs of 2009 lincoln cent.

Obviously. My main point is that these cents can be gotten at close to face value now. Last week you could easily have gotten 4 of them for 0.51, which includes postage. (I say last week, because at that margin sellers might stop selling them this week)

Like your Avatar Mike. Speaking of years and designs, that's one I have not even thought about in 25 years. The 64 dollar question. There coin that never happened, or did it? Brings back memories of my grandmother telling me the story back in the sixties.

Sittin' on my front porch this afternoon.

It looks like they used Nickel boxes. A friend opened his up and there are 2 rolls in each box, blanks in between.

Does everyone really think the 2nd one will be as high of a demand as the first one? Im having some doubts the demand will be as high. Im also wondering since the Mint knows demand for the first one was high and they end up over producing the second one...?

As a side note I got my email today that my order for two of the P/D pennies shipped today!!!! Cant wait to get them.

Im buying four of each sets of the remaining pennies I think.

I saw on the web on another site too that the Lincoln proof with the four pennies is going to likely be $54.95 +s/h. Seems like a decent price.

each collector is to have one piece. 5 boxes?. how many coins is that?. 12,500 pcs. no wonder the price is dropped. even at face value. i will not buy any.

The mint used the nickel boxes to ship them in. There is a place for 5 rolls in each box, but each box only contains a P-roll at one end, and a D-roll at the other end . . total of 100 cents. Limit was 500 cents, or 5 rolls of each. The center 3 dishes for rolls are empty.

Finally received my two rolls yesterday. Is there anyway to open the white boxes without ripping them apart?
