I am probalbly the least experienced person to be commenting, but I think a high AU grade might be probable. I see something wierd around the US on the reverse and some spotting issues on the rim, which from what I have read seem to be normal, the obverse looks okay. AU 58 I might be WAYYYYY OFFFFF! Let me know guys

I could never work around money now that I know something little about coins. I would look at everything. It does look good for a 77'

    Nice coin!

    I agree with Chris's grade...here's why...

Obverse: nice strike, nice even copper color, but dinged edge, speckled particles in field, and appears some dings on portrait.

Reverse: nice strike and even color, good rim, except for 1 ding. The major downfall for the obverse is the wear on the motto (E is virtually gone), inscription, and part of the field in the same area, a minor scratch or two in the lower field, very light carbon deposits along the lower right rim (under NT and FG)...I'd say AU58. VERY nice score from circulation!

What is going on with St in States and E in E Pluribus Unum? I have to admit for getting it in change it looks really nice.

I agree that's a nice find for a 77' from circulation. It almost looks like its pitted, I'm not very familiar with lincolns, would that be common this year? Or could it be post-mint.
