So I am trying to find AirTite holders for my platinum and palladium coins. I found some on Brent Krueger (1000 for $.53 ea) but they have some sort of black ring, and I want some that are all clear. Any suggestions? Any favorite suppliers? Thanks

What about for foreign coins? Say 33 mm 1oz palladium maple leaf? This one seems particularly hard to find!

Interesting -I do not see direct fit airtite holders specifically for 33mm. Personally I like the ring type since I think they protect the rims better.

i get so terrified when there is that 'ring' around the coin inside the capsule. I am so worried that it will release somethign that will harm the coin. If the ring is the same material as the capsule, like Mylar or equivalent, then fine. But most of the inserts are foam or somethign else... that just worries me.

I did not see direct fit 33mm airtites on the site, but might have missed it.

And Daggarjon - the rings are so suppose to inert, but we have heard that before. Actually a little toning on my bustie halves would not hurt.

There's no 33mm direct fit available, all of the direct fit capsules are sized for US coins. The 33mm ring type will be your only option if you use Air-Tite holders. We have them for $400.00 per 1000 on our wholesale page if you decide you want to use the ring type.

I agree. I don't like the way the direct fit airtites contact the rims. The ring type seem much safer. I believe the material is inert.

I second that. Just received my first order of supplies from JP's Corner, I'm very pleased with their service, fast shipping, and after shopping around, very good prices. :thumb:

I chose the AirTites with the black ring for my ASE's, they look sharp in them, and the coins seem very secure. The rings are made from an inert material, I didn't detect any odor whatsoever from the material, they don't feel plastic-y or anything like that. If you're not comfortable with the ring, the direct fit airtites are a good choice too.
