I have a friend here at work that wants me to buy a 1/10 ounce gold buffalo. I think it was a 2008. He is asking $125. Is that too much of a premium form spot?

Is it the 08' Uncirculated or proof? Either way it sounds like a good deal to me, check out the prices on eBay right now the W Buffalos are hot!

well I bought it. I had never seen one, man they look good. I am also surprised by how good the mint packaging is on it, it looks classy.

isnt it :D its amazing how the 1/10 gold packing looks just AWSOME, but then for other products they really liek cheap, cheesy and trashy IMHO.

I was very surprised and amazed at how nice the packing is on the 1/10oz buf :D

Tater, that is a horrible deal. I wouldn't do it. In fact, give me your buddy's name and number and I will call him and tell him myself what a bad person he is. ;)

So do any of you think that the fractional buffalos will be worth more than what they are now in the future. Just wondering where they were a single year issue.

Patience. I'll try to get one posted tomorrow. I also got a really nice coin for my type set from the Ogden show this last weekend. I'm a proud daddy of a 1827 large cent. Plus a cool dark toned peace dollar that is hard to photograph.

I think they will just be sold as bullion with a premium for a long time, but that is just me.

that's why I ask. I'm thinking about dumping it out on ebay, to see if i can get my 125 back with some to spare for another peace dollar.

Only if demand increases. If demand drops, so will the values. This is a popular series. I don't think demand will drop.
