Nicks and scratches and the obverse, rim dings on the reverse. Get rid of that POS, I'm the home for wayward coins

 

It is a nice coin but it's still beat up, for a proof.
I love it but it's a problem coin.
Take a guess what caused most of the damage to the obverse.

Seriously, I don't see nearly any damage to it. I must be blind. It is a 100 year old proof. It wasn't shipped in Plastic

 

How much was it?

 

The damage to the obverse is due to staples from another holder.
It would be doing good to get into a proof 60 holder because of this.
