Prize I figured I would start with the prize as that’s the thing that everyone is here for. The prize for this contest is a circulated $1 star note that I pulled out of circulation. It is a Series 2003 Chicago star note G06003938*. Rules This contest will be very similar to my other two...but there are some differences so please be aware of the changes. OK, so what I want to do is have a “20 Questions” type game in which you try and guess something about another hobby of mine. Some of you may know that I am a man of many hobbies (one of which is coin/currency collection) but I have other interests. One of them is sports card collecting. I have been collecting on and off since I was a young child. For this contest, I want you to name the athlete on a particular card along with his team AND provide a picture of him with that team. Now, what I mean is you need to post a “yes or no” answerable question for me to answer about the card. The goal is for you to use these as hints to determine the answers. The first person to do so wins. Here’s the thing though, you MUST post your questions in the thread. I will come along every once in a while (hopefully a couple times a day) and answer all the questions that have been posted since the last answer. So, everyone will be able to see what your question was and the answer. So, use your “opponents” questions to your advantage. No PM questions will be accepted. If I can’t answer the question “yes or no” I will ask for you to elaborate. The first person to name athlete, his team, and post a picture of him with that team will win. Now, all I'm going to tell you about this card is it has one professional athlete on it. It is your job to determine all the athletes on the card by asking what ever "yes or no" questions you need to figure it out. So, here are the main simplified rules. 1. Post a “yes or no” question for me to answer about the card. 2. You may post 2 questions per thread but they MUST be in the same thread. 3. You may only post 2 questions per “answer cycle”…so, if I haven’t answered your questions yet you may not post another (now, I will answer every question that has been asked since the last time I answered…so if I miss one you may repost it). Once I answer your questions you may post another. 4. You must have been a registered member of Coin Talk since before April 5, 2009 to play. 5. First person to correctly name the athlete, and his team featured on the card and post a picture of him with that team in the same reply wins. 6. If I feel I can't answer your question clearly, I may ask you to be more specific or rephrase your question. 7. Team questions must be asked in a specific format so I understand what you are asking. Please see the example below so you know the format. Team Question If you are asking if the player ever played for a certain team, please ask: "Did he ever play for Team X?" If you are asking about his team on the card, please ask: "Is the team on the card Team Y?" Because the team is part of the answer, I need to know if you are trying to get that part of the answer or trying to narrow down the player by possible teams. If I can't clearly understand which you are asking I will ask for clarification and your question has been wasted. Good Luck and Have Fun!!!
No Are you asking still asking about the card, or in general? Are you asking about his team on the card or if he ever played for one of those teams?
OK, then I'll fix them to say that. I'm sorry but it's important to know which because the team on the card is part of the answer. No Yes No Yes
