I just saw this thread and read through it and it seemed to make sense both were in the same class 1993 one was from washington state the other from washington (pac-10) one has played for three teams bledsoe (pats, bills, cowboys) has a probowl selection and a superbowl ring. Brunell has played for 4 teams (packers, jags, redskins, saints) and also has a probowl selection but no ring
No It does make sense...but it's not the correct answer. But, your right. You have the right conference, right number of teams, there are Pro Bowls, and you have a ring. Drew Bledsoe has a ring from being a member of the Super Bowl XXXVI champion Patriots. He was a backup when they won, but he was on the roster (that was the year he got hurt and Tom Brady came off the bench). However, Mark Brunell wasn't a first round pick which was one of the hints I have (I think he was a 3rd rounder).
i forgot about the whole 7 teams, he mentioned franchise Quarterbacks and searched that and Carson Palmer was one and he went to USC so i put him, but it also said mark brunell and then i searched for pac 10 QBs and found a thread on Pac-10 QB bust coming after Troy Akiman was drafted basically the 90s but the guy mentioned some at the beginning of the good ones from it and Mark Brunell was on there, now i have no clue
I see you changed your second pick. The one you had before had played for San Fransicso. This is FUN!
That's it!!! You Win!!! Please me PM your information and I will send you the star note. I found it when I was a bank teller and now I'm sending it to a bank teller. I think it was made to be. Anyway, for the card. Yes, this card features Drew Bledsoe and Joey Harrington. It is a 2003 Hot Prospects "Hot Tandems" Insert card that was printed to a limited run of 100. This particular card is #18 of the 100. It features a piece of game used jersey from both Drew Bledsoe (then of the Buffalo Bills) and Joey Harrington (then of the Detroit Lions).
Thank goodness! Do you know how obsessed I was with figuring this out? I was up past midnight last night and it was the first thing I thought about this morning! LOL I get that way about things and this was a fun game! That is a really awesome card! I have several baseball and basketball cards of my own. I don't own any football ones though but my hubby has some of his favorite players. He is a big time Cowboys fan. I will PM you my info and yes I think it was meant to stay with a teller!
I was waiting for someone to guess an Oregon player. I had the Oregon Duck in my avatar for some time, so I was waiting for that. I'm going to do one more star note contest...probably starting tomorrow. But, I think it will be another car guessing one.
Well, unfortunately...the only football cards in my collection scanned either come from my Joe Montana or Joey Harrington collections. So, there's not a lot of images to pick from.
