If you are posting a new thread and spelled something wrong in your title, you can't change it. I just did that. I posted 2009 Lincoln, but spelled it Linclon.

I agree, but only edit it to a limited degree. I have used the wrong date sometimes too...

Why not, I have edited thread titles before. Click "go advanced" after clicking edit and it should allow you to edit the thread title.

I tried it but it doesn't work. You go to edit & then to advanced and I changed it, but when I refreshed the page went back to the wrong one.

    I fixed it.
The Mod's can change the title, so if this happens again, just PM one of us with a link to the thread you would like changed.

I'm really confused as to why worry about a mispelled word here. I thought this was a coin forum. I've had way to many years of schooling with horrible grades in grammar and especially spelling to restart worrying about that now.
I had teachers and professors yell at me many, many times and tell me if I don't learn spelling and grammar I'd probably end up collecting coins or something.
By the way I had to stop and think of just how do you spell Lincoln. :goofer:

    Lincon --- of course.

One thing though is that I once made an error in the subject that was so bad that it ment something very not what I wanted and of questionable taste.

TBS - Sometimes spelling is good for searching.
