This one just arrived today.

US, $1, 1928

 

Since Rick Bradley was brought up, I thought I'd post a dollar bill that I purchased which was part of his collection. He and I shared a lot of interests in paper money and some other interests. I am honoured to own this note - it means a lot because he owned it and it directly ties in to a niche post-Civil War obsolete note collection I have.

 

The Series 611 $10 is often referred to as "The Marilyn" - not sure why?

 

People compare it to here even though it has nothing to do with her, but this
note is one of, if not the prettiest note out there.
