An authentic 21st century Shanghai minted piece, with chop marks etc. to give it that air of authenticity.

It's in Mexico... that makes it even better !

Lessee now... valuable coin, uncertified, foreign seller, E-Bay.

This coin is a great hole filler. It satisifies every one of my Red Flags.

Back when I was in high school the Mexican 8 Reales with the chopmarks were selling in dealers junk bins, I remember buying a 1782 for $5. Back then they were regarded as damaged coins, now they are collectable.

I kinda like chopmarks on certain coins, if I ever find one that has a nice array I'll buy it just for curiosities sake.

I wasn't complaining, I liked getting a 200+ year old silver dollar sized coin for a fiver.

The first coin posted looks fake, the second one looks genuine, imo. btw, I think chopmarks are neat, sometimes, also.
