I have a 1974 proof medal in it's original envelope and with it's letters.
The set contains a medal never touched by human hands, a plastic medal, 4 1974 original 10 cent stamps, 1974 envelope, and 6 columns of information printed on 1974 letters. Does anybody have any information or value on the set?

Looks like a Franklin mint coin. Can you post a close up of the coin????

Not Franklin mint. The US Mint issued these around the time of the Bi-centennial. Check e-bay. If you decide to collect these medals I'm sure they can be had for a reasonable price.

Looks kind of interesting. I wonder what the Mint hired to package thoes if not a human. Of course they didn't say anything about human feet though.
Seriously though I would suspect nothing of great value.

I had (possibly still have) a few of these.

Don't know where they went, but no great value.
