It is July 23-25 at the St. Charles Convention Center, in St. Charles, Missouri which is a suburb of St. Louis. It should be a good show, with about 160 dealer tables. And it is in a nice big spacious convention center. I always have a great time at these shows, and find exactly what I'm looking for. I thought I would post this well ahead of time so people could make plans/arrangements if they want to go. I'd love to meet some more cointalk members! So, does anyone think they can make it???
Adam is right....it is a good show. And, you get a bonus by meeting a good fellow in Mr. Walker himself, AdamL!
Unless something comes up, I am definitely going. It will be my very first coin show. Hope to meet some CTalkers there too. Thanks for the heads up Adam!
Sounds good guys. Hopefully tcore can make it too. I've met him at a couple St. Louis shows. We can discuss possibly meeting up when it gets closer to the date of the show.
unfortunately the date falls in line along with my other plans. i have been this center for other occasions but i've never been to a coin show. is this an annual event? are there any other shows scheduled in the st. louis area this year?
Im not really for sure i am a newbie at coins , but i have always heard people talk about how nice it was.
Yes, this is an annual event. There is also a show there in October which is an annual event. And a show at the airport Hilton every February which is annual as well.
Yeah, I'm definitely going!! I'm from St. Louis but am not 100% sure as to where it is but will mapquest it. I didn't know that there were going to be so many tables there. Wish it was sooner! I keep reminding my girlfriend and she just sighs.
Ahhhh, come on Carl. Its just over the river Plenty of time left for everyone to make travel plans too. Over 2 months.
If you're willing to drive a little bit, there will be one in Mt. Vernon, IL on Sunday, September 27, 2009. For more info, visit http://www.doics.com.
Get used to that Bro! I will have to see about this show. We'll see where funds, plans and all of that stand a little closer to time. This is a very nice show. There's always plenty of action. Adam's also a great guy and fun to hang out with. -tcore-
I hope to see you there. But I understand if you can't make it. I'm having to make some cutbacks in other areas so I can go coin shopping at this show.
