because the 2008 5 pc quarter set is the lowest mintage of all 5 pc clad set. and the 2008 clad proof set is also the lowest since 1960. 2007 5 pc quarter is the second lowest. this one can also move high.
this set is between the 10 year statehood quarters series and the 10 year state park quarters series. will this set move up in the future?. what you think?.
I placed an order for one after reading your post, thanks. I just think this is going to be an over looked set of coins due to only one year and the change in the Lincoln Cent this year which is getting all the publicty. Not from an investment prospective, but years down the road for sons. I don't think they'll be quitting there jobs when they inherit these. I also read somewhere the circulation mintage is expected to be miniscule compared to the state quarters, but no idea if this is fact or not. The clad proof set I ordered when they came out is really quite beautiful in my opinion. It is also someting quite different than anything the mint has done in the past as far as I'm aware of.
clad six pc quarters set - 397,995 silver six pc quarters set - 100,689 these sets can have a bright future.
Does that include the proof quarters also found in the normal proof set and normal silver proof set (so, the sets that aren't just quarters). Because, in the past the number of quarter sets hasn't mattered if the normal sets are produced in high numbers.
