Recently came across this nice find, being this die clash on the reverse of a 1984 Lincoln Memorial Cent. I can't seem to find this exact die clash on Mad Die Clashes, but there are similar ones with the same occurrence. This penny shows the last few letters of LIBERTY, mainly "ERTY", from the obverse on the inside of the memorial building, as well as some of Lincoln's profile. I'm not sure how rare/desirable these are, but its in nice shape and I wanted to share regardless as I have never personally come across one like this!
Yup, that appears to be a pretty strong clash. You can see all of the die polish below the memorial - mint workers recognized the clash and tried to remove the evidence. I don't see any clashing on the obverse in your picture, do you see any in hand? I'm betting they replaced the obverse after the clash because it was just too strong to polish out. What would be super cool would be to find one struck before they polished the clash out, because I'll bet that would an absolute banger of a clash.
Clash of LIBERTY. Very nice. Some of it got into the recesses of the die, as shown on the pillars, meaning it indeed was quite strong, meaning it left a counterpart on the obverse that, from the looks of that side, got polished off.
